Rizevax will be available by prescription only. It is intended to be self-administered through monthly subcutaneous injections using a pre-filled pen device. Due to Rizevax representing the first new treatment option for celiac disease in over 50 years, the manufacturer has set a high list price of $6,900 per month's supply or $82,800 per year.
